Approaches to climbing areas were done with ease in the Rover as the climbing rubber helped with grip on the more vertical areas when trying to get to a crag. Now granted you couldn't scale a slabby 5.11 rock face in these shoes, but if there's some small vertical scurrying involved, the Rover can get it done. Once again, the breathability from the air mesh was very noticeable in both trail running and approaches as there was no experience of hot spots during activity.
