I know they were voted the ugliest shoe in the universe (or something like that) but my family swear by them because they are summer loving shoes. They are really comfortable, durable, and perfect for all sorts of conditions. We wear them on the beach, in the river, for walking in town, and country, and in the winter they make perfect slippers. To be very honest my love of real Crocs shoes took a while to develop because I decided to buy imitation ones instead! I don't usually buy 'labels' , and I really believed that all these shoes were the same so why pay extra just for a brand name! Well that was a mistake I can tell you.
