No way does it fit though doorways. And the shocks are terrible. I had heard of the Baby Jogger City Mini and even City Select strollers, but I had no idea the company had actual jogging strollers too. I recently had the opportunity to take a single Baby Jogger Summit X3 out for a spin with Raffi. Here are some things I love about it: 1. Storage of strollers is always an issue for me, and I love how compact this stroller is when folded. It has the signature Baby Jogger one hand fold, and I was able to easily fold it while wearing the baby. More importantly, it was easy to lift into my car trunk without full use of both of my hands. 2. The Summit X3 can fit through every doorway without a problem. I am no longer a runner, but I love using a jogging stroller to run errands or go for powerwalks. Doorways can be an issue with many strollers. This one fits through a standard doorway without ever catching the wheels an issue I have with many other strollers I used in the past. 3. Raffi does not notice any bumps in the road. This is huge because Raffi usually says oh! about 1,000 times as we walk through the city due to the bumpy sidewalks. The suspension is great and he seems like a king when he in this stroller. The seats look very comfortable, and I imagine that he could fit in this stroller for years to come. In fact, I seen older kids in this stroller a few times, and they all look very comfortable. 4. You can lock the front wheel without bending over. I will admit that I rarely need to lock the front wheel, but when I do need to it is quite convenient to simply use the swivel lock mechanism on the side of the handlebar. What to watch for: I found the storage basket to be a little difficult to access. It is fairly large, but it isn as open as some other strollers I seen. Baby Jogger is launching the Summit X3 double jogging stroller, and I be curious to see if the double stroller is as impressive as the single. I love that this stroller is safe for jogging but feels small like a regular every day stroller. As someone who once owned a BOB Revolution jogging stroller, I feel that I can compare the two. I found the BOB to have a smoother ride for Raffi and better suspension overall, but the stroller often got stuck in doorways. It was also a huge pain to fold and store it. It took up most of our very roomy Jeep trunk. The Baby Jogger Summit X3 has a bit less of a smooth ride, but nothing I think the kids would notice. It also folds extremely easily and fits nicely in our trunk with lots of room to spare. Both are easy to push. If I had to choose between the two I would consider my needs. If you planning on doing a lot of trail running or won have a need to transport your stroller and enjoy having a large storage basket, I go with the BOB. If I wanted one stroller for both every day and exercise, I would go with the Summit X3. Both are great strollers, but have different advantages depending on your need. Win! Taking Care of Your FeetStaying on your feet all day can be a trial, especially if your career demands it day after day. Whether you work in a kitchen as a chef, line cook, dishwasher, whether you're a teacher or work in healthcare as a doctor, nurse or medical assistant, you're no stranger to foot pain. Foot pain can spread throughout the body as well, causing problems in your back. Here's a few tips to help keep you on your feet and pain free:To say your body requires water to operate would be an understatement. Dehydration can cause painful muscle cramps, so make sure you drink plenty of water throughout the day. Stretches for Your Feet (that can be done while at work)While Sitting Lift your foot and rotate clockwise 20 times, then counter clockwise 20 times. Repeat for your other foot. Barefoot, spread your toes by pushing your fingers between them. Oh, and wash your hands afterwards ; )Barefoot (or in sock feet), push your toes towards the bottom of your feet by pressing them against the floor. Repeat for the other foot. Barefoot (or in sock feet), push your toes towards the top of your feet by pressing them against the floor Stretching and Exercise for Your FeetA few stretches at the beginning of the day can go a long way towards loosening up the muscles in your feet, legs, and back. Staying active will strengthen these muscles as well, giving you the stamina you need to make it through the day. Take a Break Taking time out in the middle of the day to take a load off and stretch out those tired muscles might just help you find that second wind. It's easy to forget to take care of yourself when you're busy, but a short break can help ensure you're prepared for the dinner rush, afternoon classroom activities, or the next leg of your shift. This would be a good time to run through some of the sitting foot stretches mentioned above, and just giving yourself a foot massage (Directions Here). Shoes for Nurses and Doctors: To Croc or Not Clogs, such as the popular Crocs, have become more popular among healthcare professionals. Despite their popularity, they are not true orthotic shoes. Their recent CrocsRX line is also severely limited in options and styles (only three at this writing of this article). "Because the shoe is considered medical, it gets overused by people who need more support than they can get from the shoe," Baravarian tells WebMD. "It's not as good as an orthotic or a medical type shoe; it's made out to be better than it is." (SOURCE: WebMD) The clogs sold by Dansko and Oo Foot Relief offer some better looking options than industry leaders Orthofeet and Dr. Comfort. Dankso's clogs for nurses and doctors start at $115, with Oo Foot Relief's starting at $50. These are specially designed shoes that match the structure of your feet. Anatomically, our foot is composed of bones, muscles, and ligaments. The first metatarsal bone the bone found in our big toe, and the mid section of our foot carries most of the body weight and plays a major role in propulsion. The calcaneus bone forms our heel and works along with the tarsal bone to enable the movement of the ankle joints. These are the major parts of our foot that works hard for us to perform our daily activities. It is very important to make sure that these foot parts are well protected and kept to be in their anatomical position as much as possible to avoid foot and leg pains. It may sound complicated, but thanks to the inventors of the orthopedic shoes, your foot can now get the right treatment they deserve. When purchasing orthopedic shoes, you need to consider the size of your foot (length and width), any malformation like polydatyly extra toes, and how often do these shoes be used. In other words, there are no orthopedic shoes that fit all kinds of foot. In fact, the American Orthopaedic Association (AOA) highly recommends purchasing custom made orthopedic shoes to make sure that the shoes fits perfectly thus benefiting the most from it. The next time when you think of buying a pair of shoes, why not consider what would make your feet happy as well. Orthopedic shoes are available in different sizes and designs to match your outfit. Better yet, have it custom made so you would get the benefit of comfort and style. Yes, it may cost few more bucks but having a happy feet is priceless. Nike Roshe Run Hyp Women Grey Pink Quilted,When you have found out that you are pregnant it is a time to be truly ecstatic. You are probably already on your way out to buy clothes for your new bundle of joy until you realize that finding clothes for you, that fit in your closet, could be the challenge. Before you can buy more items for your baby, you need to start building a maternity wardrobe because you will be growing in the next few months. There is no need to squeeze into pants that no longer fit you. Your main priorities in the next few months are taking care of your baby and wearing clothes that make you feel comfortable and attractive. Just because you are pregnant, it does not mean you have to wear baggy clothes to stay comfortable. Designer maternity wear is a growing industry which competes to make the finest clothes that not only make expecting Mums look great, but feel great too. There is no need to stress over shopping for maternity clothes. Here are a few tips to help you out: Not all maternity clothes are expensive. Look for bargains and "two for" deals. If you are planning on becoming pregnant again, make sure you hold onto these clothes. If you have already been pregnant, then take those clothes out of the closet. Check out Op Shops as well. These clothes have probably never been worn and are usually still of a high quality. Do not over buy. Some of your clothes will still be wearable throughout some or even all of your pregnancy. Clothing articles like stretchy jumpers, yoga pants, tunics, flowing dresses and stretch pants should all last the distance. Just like packing, purchase clothes that you can mix and match. Neutral colours like brown, black, navy blue, white and tan will match anything and the darker colours will give you a slimmed appearance. Some of that baby weight may journey down south so do not forget to purchase underwear. Some women do not need new underwear but some women invest in purchasing underwear that is a size larger to feel a little more comfortable. There is also maternity underwear available also. Your bust size will also increase while pregnant so your old bras may be uncomfortable. Sports bras may be OK, but other women prefer maternity and nursing bras for more support. For those women looking for a bit of luxury, there is also lingerie for pregnant women that is comfortable and will also make them look and feel sexy. With all of the shoes in your closet, what's one more pair? Pregnancy can be rough on the feet. Your feet may swell and the added weight may cause irritation. You should invest in a good pair of maternity shoes that are comfortable. Flat shoes are best but there are some low heeled shoes that are also great for something a bit more dressy. Shopping online can be a great way to find excellent clothes at great rates. You can find hundreds of maternity clothing options and compare prices online. Make sure you invest in bras, underwear, pants, shirts, socks, sweaters, jackets and most importantly shoes.

What do you think? Are we on the right track? I'd like to suggest one more reason, and it is really the only factor that you and I have complete control over: Bookkeeping. There's not much we can do about Reasons 1 and 2. And there's a limit to how much we can do about Reason 3. But there is a tremendous amount we can do to maintain better tax records and this, more then anything else, is the Number One reason why small business owners and self employed people pay more tax than necessary. Let me now prove it to you by asking this question: How did your business do last year? (By "business" I'm referring to any type of small or home based business venture, full time or part time, including self employment activities of the typical sole proprietor.) Did you have a profit or a loss? Do you even know whether you had a profit or loss? If I called you up on the phone right now and asked you how much profit (or loss) you made in your business last year at least 5 people out of 10 wouldn't have a clue. If I asked you right now to tell me how much profit (or loss) you made last month, I know for a fact that 9 out of 10 couldn't tell me. And chances are that when tax time rolls around each year, you won't even know how much profit you made last year for at least a month or two after spending days and untold stressful hours trying to fix your record keeping nightmare. I deal with this scenario regularly: The typical small business owner or self employed person is stressed out about taxes because his/her records are in a shambles. You know what I'm taking about, don't you? Receipts scattered in five places, and you've long forgotten what they were even for. Hand scribbled notes in your day timer. A checkbook. Twelve months worth of receipts from three different credit cards. And now you've got to figure out how to put it all together in the next few weeks so you can prepare your own return or give it all to your accountant without him laughing in your face because of the total disaster your records are in. And most folks wouldn't even dare think about what would happen if the IRS came calling for an audit. The IRS would laugh all the way to the bank at the record keeping disaster they find. Most self employed folks use a variation of the "shoe box" method they throw all their receipts, cancelled checks, bank deposit slips and anything else business related into a box and then come March or April they dump it out and try to figure out what the heck was what for about 5 days straight. Is this any way to run a business? Isn't it time you got organized? And the easiest way to do that is to automate your bookkeeping. You are using a computer right now, correct? Then do yourself a favor and throw away any manual bookkeeping system you've used before and start keeping records on the computer. There are several good programs on the market Quicken and Quickbooks are the most well known. If you have little or no bookkeeping experience, try Quicken. Quickbooks is for those with a background in accounting. If you are self employed or run a small business and you do the books yourself, Quicken is the program you need. Nothing fancy or confusing. Fairly easy to learn. You'll save hours with this program, and when you're done, you'll have all the info you need to do your tax return. If you take your "tax stuff" to an accountant, he'll love you for using it. Not only will tax time be much easier, but you'll finally know how your business is doing at any point during the year. No more guessing about the bottom line. Never forget this simple fact: Most people pay more taxes than they should. And the 1 reason is unreported deductions. When your record keeping system is messy, you end up paying hundreds and even thousands of dollars in taxes that you should not have paid. With a program like Quicken, it will take you a fraction of the time to get everything organized. And since it is specifically designed for the small and home based business owner like yourself, it is easy to get started saving time and money. Nike Roshe Run Hyp Women Grey Pink Quilted The 26 year old, who had taken four bank employees hostage in the morning in the same area where serial killer Mohamed Merah lived and was shot dead by police in March, was wounded in the assault, police sources said. The two other hostages, both women, had been released earlier, and no police officers were injured in the operation, which took place at 4:45 pm local time (1445 GMT), police said. Police shot the man as he was trying to exit the bank holding one of the hostages and waving his gun. He was wounded and returned inside, where he was apprehended. The gunman, identified as Fethi Boumaza, was wounded in the left hand and right thigh, local prosecutor Michel Valet said, adding that while his injuries were "significant", his life was not in danger. The locations of the wounds "show that the police were looking to neutralise, to protect the hostages, and not for one second to kill" the suspect, he said. Nearly seven hours earlier the man had entered the CIC bank, demanded money then fired a shot and taken the bank manager and other staff hostage, saying he wanted to negotiate with the elite RAID police unit that killed Merah. Valet said the gunman had claimed to act based on his religious beliefs but had seemed confused. "These were poorly defined and poorly expressed religious claims," he said. "We are dealing with someone who suffers from significant mental problems." Police said the gunman had a criminal record and an informed source said he was schizophrenic and "may have stopped his treatment". He was "put in a foster home when he was little and suffers from rage and fears the outside world," his sister told AFP over the telephone. She said he was not very religious, adding: "We went to nightclubs and drank alcohol." He entered the bank at around 10:00 am and insistently asked for money but staff did not take him seriously, police told AFP. He then produced a gun and took everyone hostage. Rapid intervention GIPN police units were dispatched from southern cities Bordeaux and Marseille to tackle the hostage taking. President Fran Hollande hailed police for their handling of the incident, praising them for their "efficiency and self control". The CIC bank and Merah's former flat are within 500 metres of each other in Toulouse's Cote Pavee neighbourhood, east of the city centre. Merah was killed at the end of a 32 hour siege of his flat after he shot dead seven people soldiers, and three children and a teacher at a Jewish school in Toulouse in a wave of killings that shocked the country. Toulouse, a city of around 500,000 people, lived in fear while police hunted the killer before he was identified as Merah. His neighbourhood has struggled to shake off the stigma of being associated with him. "We're going through the same thing as three months ago," Maria Gonzalez, a mother with two children who could not go home because of the police cordon, said Wednesday before the incident was resolved. "We used to be worry free in the neighbourhood, but since the Mohamed Merah problem, we're worried. It's happening again, it's starting to scare me," she said. Merah, 23, who claimed to be acting for Al Qaeda, filmed himself carrying out his attacks and reportedly confessed to police before he was shot dead. A petty criminal of Algerian origin, Merah reportedly spent time in Pakistan and Afghanistan but it is not known if he attended militant training camps. Riding a powerful scooter, Merah shot dead three French troops in cold blood, reportedly because of French military interventions abroad. He told negotiators the Jewish school killings were to avenge Palestinian children killed by Israel. French intelligence was heavily criticised for failing to keep tabs on Merah despite the fact he travelled to known hotbeds of militant Islam.
