Thirman L. Milner, D Hartford, says he is considering not seeking re election, in which case he would throw his support to former Hartford Mayor Carrie Saxon Perry. Milner, 60, a first term senator from the 2nd District and a former Hartford mayor, said illness may prevent him from running again for the seat that covers Hartford's North End, Windsor and part of Bloomfield. He expects to make a decision by Wednesday. I'm waiting to see what my doctor says, and then I will decide what to do,'' Milner said. He did not identify the illness.
